The new NovoFine® Autocover™ 30G has been designed especially to reduce the risk of accidental needle puncture wounds for both healthcare professionals and patients. NovoFine® Autocover™ 30G is a single use needle with an automatic shield feature that initially covers the needle, retracts during insulin deposition and then locks into place covering the needle once again. This effectively reduces the risk of accidental needle puncture wounds.
By hiding the needle throughout the injection process and by preventing needle reuse, NovoFine® Autocover™ 30G may also help reduce patient anxiety.
NovoFine® Autocover™ 30G is available in 8mm length.
Any change in insulin should be made cautiously and only under medical supervision.
