NovoLog FlexPen is a prefilled, disposable pen that provides an alternative to conventional vial and syringe administration.

NovoLog FlexPen allows for simple dosing with its easy dosing mechanism 1-unit increments for up to 60 units. Dose correction is easy - simply dial back to the correct dose. It resets to "0" during injection, so NovoLog FlexPen is ready to use.

NovoLog FlexPen fits in your pocket or purse, making it discreet and easy to carry. Instead of administering your insulin therapy with a vial and syringe, NovoLog FlexPen allows you to use this insulin delivery system with quick, adjustable dosing, making injecting insulin easy.

When NovoLog FlexPen is empty, dispose of it as you would normally discard an insulin vial. Remember to safely dispose of your needles in a sharps container. Please read your Package Insert before using NovoLog FlexPen.

NovoLog FlexPen comes prefilled with 3 mL (300 units) of rapid-acting NovoLog (insulin aspart [rDNA origin] injection).

Important Safety Information: NovoLog® (insulin aspart [rDNA origin] injection) is different from regular human insulin. It works faster and will not work as long as regular human insulin. A NovoLog® injection should immediately be followed by a meal. Because of the short duration of action of NovoLog®, patients also require a longer-acting insulin to maintain adequate glucose control. Low blood glucose is the most common side effect of insulin therapy, including NovoLog®. Any change in insulin should be made cautiously and only under medical supervision.
Indications and Usage: NovoLog® is for use in patients with diabetes to control high blood glucose.
